This group of student fans at the GHS ‘Pink Out’ volleyball game last Friday night dressed in pink in honor of breast cancer awareness month and showed animated support for the Lady Bulldogs. See page 9 for more information on the game. The Bakersfield Lady Lions volleyball team will host their ‘PINK OUT’ game at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, in honor of Natasha Crites, a proud Bakersfield High School graduate who is currently fighting breast cancer. There will be a silent auction, quilt auction, donation buckets and t-shirts for sale. Call Bakersfield School at 417-284-7333 for more information on the event and how to donate an item for the auction.
