Family whereabouts a mystery
The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department is currently searching for information about the whereabouts the Ruggles family, who are Ozark County residents.
Sheriff Cass Martin said 32-year-old Justin, 30-year-old Jennifer and 5-month-old Barakah were reported missing on May 5.
“It has been found that Justin, Jennifer and Barakah went on a religious sabbatical to Florida around the end of February. Jennifer last spoke with her family on March 6, and the family has not heard from her since,” the sheriff said.
During the investigation, Ozark County deputies have spoken with friends and family members to help track the family’s timeline and path. Officers say that the family was in southern Florida up until April 12, but they’ve been unable to find any additional information on their location after that time.
The sheriff said the family is or was possibly traveling in a 2018 silver Dodge Ram 1500 pickup with New Hampshire license 445-8031.
If you have any information regarding the Ruggles family, please contact the OCSD at 417-679-4633.
“The OCSD is requesting that everyone work together to help get this family located and bring peace to their families. We ask that everyone please share this information so that we can get this information and photos out to as many people as possible.”
A Facebook post by the OCSD about the missing family has been shared more than 4,000 times and viewed by over 150,000 people. Martin said the sheriff’s office has received a huge number of calls, and authorities are following up on all calls and Facebook messages they have received.
