Dora man dies in ATV crash

A 30-year-old Ozark County man was killed Thursday afternoon when he was ejected from his ATV.
According the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report, the accident occurred at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 when the Dora resident was driving his Can Am Outlander 1000R ATV on County Road 7590 about two miles south of CC Highway in Howell County. He drove off the road and his ATV struck an embankment, ejecting the 30-year-old. He was transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains where he was pronounced dead.
The crash was investigated by MSHP Tpr. J. Q. Hummel. Cpl. T. M. Broyles assisted. This is Troop G’s 25th fatality of 2025, compared to 15 at this time in 2024.
