Gainesville High School 2025 graduate Hunter Luna recently signed to play baseball at Missouri State University-West Plains. “I’m extremely proud of Hunter,” GHS Head Coach Blake Hobbs said. “He accomplished a lot while he was here. He was a three-time district champion, hit eighth for us when we went to the final four (as a freshman), was a three-time first team all conference player, District Player of the Year in 2023 and was an All State player as a sophomore. Hunter is a great ball player, and I will miss him a lot. I’m thankful for my time to have gotten to coach him. I think he will do great things in college, and I wish him the best!”
