Johnston and Maynard elected to Bakersfield School Board

Darren Johnston and Brad Maynard edged out competitor Kyle Clayton and were elected to fill the two open seats on the Bakersfield School Board in the April 5 General Municipal Election. 
The unofficial election results released Tuesday night by Ozark County Clerk Brian Wise indicated that 160 total voters cast votes in the race with the following breakdown:

• Darren Johnston: 41 percent, 65 votes

• Brad Maynard: 31 percent, 49 votes

• Kyle Clayton: 28 percent, 45 votes

• Write-in candidate: 1 vote
