Benefit auction Feb. 2 for Freiman family
Relatives and friends of the late Luke Freiman are organizing a benefit auction Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Bakersfield High School gym with the proceeds to benefit his wife Kim and son Jake. Bidding will start at 6 p.m.
Freiman, well known to many Ozark Countians, died Dec. 12 in a rollover vehicle accident on H Highway about 10 miles south of Dora.
The impressive lineup of well over 100 auction items includes custom-built furniture, multiple pieces of jewelry, an Angus yearling bull, loads of gravel and/or chat, St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia, guns, quilts, a Mathews Z-7 Extreme bow with carbon arrows, a Denali lithium fishing rod, Yeti items, a 225-pound hog, $250 worth of fertilizer, lime or seed, meat processing, ground elk, gift certificates for local photography sessions and a 5-month-old French bulldog puppy.
