Hello from our home to yours. To jump-start last week, we had sewing club on Monday and worked on cross-stitch blocks. Then we went outside to enjoy the fresh air. Later in the day, we did crayon art on canvas.
Tuesday morning, employees from the courthouse came and helped the residents with voting. Norm Hartman also joined us for our resident council meeting. After the meeting, we went outside and walked around the building for walking club. After lunch, Debbie Cobb led us in Bible study.
A fun game of dominoes started off our Wednesday morning, followed by a western movie.
Thursday morning, we gathered in the dining room where Norm Hartman joined us again for VFW bingo. It’s always a big hit when Norm comes for bingo. We all enjoy it. Soon after the game, we had walking club.
After lunch, we went to the fireplace room to appreciate Robin Strong for all her hard work with medical records. We gave her a gift and enjoyed cookies.
And on Friday, we played bingo and went on a sightseeing trip. We made our first stop at Miller’s One Stop, where we got some yummy ice cream. Then we drove over to Theodosia. We love getting out to look at the beautiful scenery of the Ozarks.
