Zanoni news: Nov. 29, 2017

Still no rain. The weather changes nearly every day. Warm days and cool nights.

We hope everyone had a good holiday. We went to Travis and Sarah McConnaughy’s for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was great. Travis cooked the turkey on the outside grill. Those attending included Paul and I, Chris, Keith and Marsha Evans and Sarah’s brother, Sam, and his wife who live in Michigan.

Our neighbor Mr. Szabo came by Saturday. He was on his way to visit his friend, Willi, who’d had some heart problems.

The new animal we saw was a red fox in a field on Highway 95. We don’t see many of these anymore.

The Ozark County Food Pantry will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Paul and I went to Ava Saturday night. We ate supper at a new restaurant located across the street in front of the school. The food was good.

Leroy and I received word of the passing of one of our first cousins, Bonita Watson Duncan, in Springdale, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Ila and Bernie Morrison Watson. Our prayers are with the family.

Everyone have a good week and get your Christmas shopping done.
