Zanoni news: Dec. 6, 2017

Still no rain.

Paul is dozing for Leroy Morrison down on the farm. He is pushing treetops out of the fields after some logs had been cut.

We went to Winona again Thursday night to hear the Baker family perform. We ate supper with Jack and Judy Barnes.

I talked with Orin Robinson, my cousin who lives in Sherwood, Arkansas. Imogene is having some health problems due to a fall.

I also talked with another cousin, Doin Coy, who lives in Washington. He is the son of Verl and Lillie (Morrison) Coy. We haven’t seen him in years. He is 97 years old. I had spoken to his daughter, Freda, before calling him.

Winter must be close. The blue jays and snow birds have been in the backyard.

Richard called and invited us over for supper Saturday night. He had make a big pot of soup. We had really good soup, crackers and ice cream.

We ate dinner at The Center Sunday after church. The food was good, and it’s always good to visit with friends.

Our sympathy and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones.

Everyone  have a good week and be sure and have a good wood pile for the upcoming weather. Also, think about what you will have for Christmas dinner.
