Lutie golfer places 7th in districts

Lutie High School student Emma Shockey, pictured with coach Buck Comstock (right) and Emma’s dad/Lutie co-coach Matt Shockey, placed seventh in the class 1 district 1 girls golf tournament, held at the Horton Smith Golf Course in Springfield Oct. 5. Shockey had a par +33 and a stroke score of 103. She will now advance to the class 1 state golf tournament at the Sedalia Country Club later this month.
