Lutie boys face off against Bradleyville in first game

The Lutie Indians boys basketball team competed in its first home game Friday, Dec. 1, facing off against Bradleyville. Head coach Heath Treat said that although the team is lacking in size and experience, he is hopeful that with hard work and dedication, the team will continually improve this season. The team was led in scoring Triten Ewry with 8 points. Teammates Donovan Homer and Tyler Cokey each chipped in an additional three points each. The Indians fell 14-46. The Lutie Indians boys upcoming schedule includes season games of: Dec. 19 vs. Couch at home; Dec. 21 vs. Galena at the away gym; Jan. 16 vs. Dora at the away gym; Feb. 6 vs. Dora at home; and Feb. 15 vs. Couch in an away game. Lutie did not have enough interested players to form a girls team this year.
