Woman seriously injured in Theodosia crash July 24


Theodosia VFD photo A woman was seriously injured after crashing her van on Country Club Drive in Theodosia last week.

A Chaffee, Missouri, woman was taken by ambulance to Cox Hospital in Springfield last Thursday, July 24, after sustaining serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Country Club Drive in Theodosia.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report, the woman, whose name is not listed, was traveling southbound on Country Club Drive, three miles east of Theodosia, around 4 p.m. that day in a 2008 Toyota Highlander when she traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. She was wearing a seatbelt, the report says. 

The van was extensively damaged and was towed from the scene by Sam’s Towing, at the trooper’s request. 

The crash was investigated by MSHP Tpr. C. A. Edens.
