Man taken to hospital after motorcycle crash in Brixey

A Lafayette, Indiana man was taken by Ozark County Ambulance to Cox South hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on N Highway, about eight miles north of Brixey last week. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash reports, the 38-year-old man was driving a 2023 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on N Highway around 3:40 p.m. last Thursday, July 30, when he ran off the roadway, overturned and was thrown from the bike. He was wearing a helmet, the report says.

The motorcycle was a total loss and was towed from the scene by Ron’s Recovery of Gainesville, at the trooper’s request. The crash was investigated by MSHP Tpr. R. W. Wylie.
