Bakersfield woman injured in Saturday evening wreck
A 46-year-old Bakersfield woman suffered minor injuries when she struck a deer Saturday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report, the woman was driving her 2016 Buick Lacross northbound on Highway 101 in Howell County, two miles south of Caulfield. The woman was wearing a seatbelt. The crash happened at 8:05 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.
The woman was transported by Ozark County Ambulance to Baxter Health in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Her car was removed from the scene by Duke’s Towing out of Caulfield.
The crash was investigated by MSHP Tpr. D. B. Howell. According to the Ozark County Sheriff’s Report, Tpr. Howell was assisted by first responders from Bakersfield and Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Departments.
