I was at my wit's end with Medicaid and the run around they had been giving me since July 2. I’ve called them five times total, re-enrolled my son, Zyler, twice, sent every document they needed, then more (that it turns out they didn't need), updated my information every single time, and each time, I was told his case would be expedited due to the severity. 

Every time they would say, ‘Give it 24 to 48 hours.’ One time I was on the call for over three hours, and we got disconnected. The lady didn't even call me back. On my last call, they said he wouldn't be active until Aug. 1. To some, that may not be a big deal, for us it is! 

I reached out to our State Representative, Matthew Overcast, and he responded immediately. He said he would have his team on Zyler's case first thing Wednesday morning. On July 16, a lady from Jefferson City called to let me know Zyler's case was resolved, and his insurance would be active Thursday morning. I later got a call from Medicaid saying the same thing.

Friends, use your resources! Something I have been fighting for 16 days, was fixed in less than 24 hours, thanks to them. 

They are here to help, and I encourage anyone having any similar issues to reach out to them. It was the easiest, most pleasant experience, and they are the kindest people.
