A big thank you!

I would like to thank all the many volunteers who made Hootin an Hollarin 2023 possible. First, the committee members who have been attending meetings since May, planning their events and taking care of their many responsibilities. 

Next, I want to thank all of the volunteers that set up the bleachers, the stage and the dance platforms, then take them back down and clean up afterwards which includes the Gainesville FFA and FBLA. 

Thanks to all the businesses that sponsored the stage entertainment and made donations to Hootin an Hollarin. 

I also want to thank all the people who attended and participated in the contests, parades and square dancing. 

We had a record number of square dancers - mostly young people! A special thank you to the many demonstrators who are all volunteers and showed us “The Best of Yesterday.”

Last, but not least, thanks to the Ozark County Times for the great coverage and wonderful pictures and the extra work that goes into making the Hootin an Hollarin festival guide.

I love Hootin an Hollarin, but I love our little community that comes together to make it possible even more!
