Local teams serve up competition: Gainesville Lady Bulldogs

The Gainesville Lady Bulldogs took three losses last week with a Sept. 30 home game against Fordland (0-3), an Oct. 3 game at Conway (1-3) and a Oct. 4 game at Seymour (2-3). The girls also participated in the Houston volleyball tournament over the weekend, but game results were not available Tuesday.

The Lady Bulldogs come into this week with an away game against Dora on Thursday, Oct. 10, followed by their participation in the second annual Mansfield Lady Lions Invitational Volleyball Tournament Saturday. 

The Lady Bulldogs won’t face their Ozark County competitors in districts, as Gainesville plays up a class in the tournament. The Class 2 District 9 tournament will be held Oct. 22-26.
