Lady Bulldogs softball team takes win over Dora

Gainesville Lady Bulldog player Katelyn Morgan swings at a pitch during an April 9 softball game against the Dora Lady Falcons. The Lady Bulldogs won the contest 14-1. They spent last weekend in the Sparta Softball Classic tournament where they took a 1-16 loss to Forsyth and a 7-6 win against Fordland. The Lady Bulldogs are in play this week in Mansfield Monday, at home against Bakersfield Wednesday and at home vs. Fordland Thursday. The girls will play at GHS’s new sports complex (see page 1 and 14) Monday, April 22, against Norwood.
