Lady Bulldogs to host first annual holiday tourney

This week the Gainesville’s Lady Bulldogs and head coach Lance West are hosting the First Annual Lady Bulldog Holiday Tournament Dec. 26-29.
Seeding for the tournament is as follows: Bakersfield, Gainesville, Couch, Dora, Bradleyville and Cabool. Red pool is Bakersfield, Dora and Bradleyville. White pool is Gainesville, Couch and Cabool.
Games start at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, with the first-seeded Bakersfield Lady Lions (6-2) taking on the Dora Lady Falcons (3-4), followed by Gainesville (3-4) vs. sixth-seeded Cabool (0-7).
On Wednesday, Bakersfield plays Bradleyville at 2 p.m., followed by Gainesville vs. Couch. Thursday, Dora plays Bradleyville at 2, followed by Couch vs. Cabool.
Friday’s games also begin at 2, starting with the consolation round, pitting third place Red vs. third place White. Both pools’ second-place teams play each other for third and fourth place at 3:30 p.m.
The tournament will end with the championship game at 5 p.m.
