GJHS Lady Bulldogs take first in Summit Conference

The Gainesville Junior High girls basketball team defeated Sparta 47-20 in the Oct. 22 championship game of the Summit Conference Tournament held at Seymour High School last week. Sadie Walker led the Lady Bulldogs with 24 points, followed by Macy Hambelton with 12. Regan Blackburn, Lola Wade and Payton Eslinger chipped in 3 each, and Taylor Frazier added 2.
