Gainesville hosts third annual cross country meet Saturday

Elementary school runners from nine schools toed the start line in the first race of the Bulldog Cross Country Classic held Saturday, Sept. 27. More than 240 runners competed at the meet, which included races for the elementary students pictured above, followed by junior high girls, junior boys, high school girls and high school boys. Gainesville cross country seniors – Faith Avila, Damion Goss, Kaitlyn Kahl, Kyden Myers, Logan Funk, Macray Hambelton, Sarah Klessig, and Zeke Yarger – were recognized during the meet.
