Bulldogs bring record to 15-7 after beating Fordland, Mansfield

The Gainesville Bulldogs grabbed a big win over Fordland Tuesday, Feb. 6, ending the game with a score of 82-59. 

The Bulldogs went on to battle Mansfield Friday, Feb. 9, in an away game and brought home a 61-51 win. Senior Andrew Hambelton led the scoring with 16 points, followed by Harmon Johns with 14, Owen Donley with 12 and Nathan Kiger with 10. Easton McGee added 4; Grant Leeker chipped in 3 and Hunter Luna added 2 to the Bulldog tally. Nathan Kiger led in rebounds with 9, followed by Harmon Johns with 6. Easton McGee led the assist column with 5.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs hosted Willow Springs for the last home game of the season. The school honored seniors Andrew Hambelton, Easton McGee and Nathan Kiger.

The Bulldogs have away games scheduled against Hartville Tuesday, Feb. 13, and Chadwick Thursday, Feb. 15. The Bulldogs will face Fordland in the opening round of the class 2 district 10 tournament Tuesday, Feb. 20. Districts are scheduled for Feb. 20-24.
