Dora runners compete at Van Buren’s Scenic River Run

The Dora High School and Junior High  Falcons traveled to Van Buren to run in the Scenic River Run on Sept. 24.

The Dora boys junior high team took fourth place out of nine teams, led by Braxtin Green who took 13th out of 102 runners in the 2400-meter run.

The girls junior high team also placed fourth. They were led by Kinsen Mitchell who placed fifth out of 78 girls  in the 2400-meter race. 

The Dora High School varsity boys team placed eighth out of 15 schools, led by Daniel Thomlinson who took fourth place with a time of 18:03.8 in the 3.1 mile race.

The high school varsity girls team took fourth place out of eight schools, and were led by Isabelle Martin, who ran her race in 21:40.7.

Dora’s next meet is set for Friday, Oct. 3 when they travel to Camdenton.
