Dora JAG volunteers at Project Homeless Connect

The Dora School JAG class volunteered at the Project Homeless Connect event, held at the West Plains Civic Center Jan. 30. “Today was all about community service and loving on those in need. We were honored to provide hand-tied blankets to our homeless veterans through our Project Warmth. We made connections, smiled and even shed a few tears - and left with a deeper understanding, more love and respect for those in need. These kids today surpassed any expectations that I could’ve possibly had. I am proud of the way they showed up, embraced and gave it their all today. I am so proud to be their teacher,” JAG sponsor Amanda McKee said in a Facebook post. Pictured from left: front row, Mrs. Amanda McKee, Hope Green, Bria Schneider, Tierra Mitchell, Marley Green.
