Man steals vehicle after being released from jail

A warrant has been issued for the re-arrest of Theodosia resident Dennis Glenn Dale, in connection with an underlying case in which he’s charged with forgery and drug possession. A post on the Ozark County Sheriff’s Faceook page outlined Dale’s alleged transgressions.
“On Jan. 24, 2025, deputies conducted a warrant service for a Dennis Dale at a residence in Theodosia. He had an active felony warrant as a result of a local forgery case as well as pending charges locally and out of county.
“He was located, arrested, and booked into jail. A search warrant was served at his residence while he was in jail. Meth and paraphernalia were located and those additional charges were sent to the prosecutor.
“He was released to Taney County several weeks later and after being released by Taney County, he stole a vehicle and procured several additional felony charges.
“The stolen vehicle was located the following day in central Arkansas, and we will be seeing his face again on our page when he is inevitably caught and returned here where we will keep his bed warm and a light on for him.”
Court documents allege that Dale stole and forged $950 in checks in November and December 2024 from an individual who had hired him for farm work. Other court documents say that while he was in jail, officers conducted a search warrant at his residence and found a used syringe and four new syringes, all of which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
In Ozark County, Dale has two open felony cases in which he’s charged with three felony counts of forgery, a felony stealing charge, as well as the felony of possessing methamphetamine and the misdemeanor of possessing drug paraphernalia.
