Two Ozark County residents have had felony cases filed against them as a result of search warrants executed by the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department in January this year.
John Fienhold, born in 1961, of Bakersfield, is facing 26 new felonies as a result of a Jan. 8, search warrant executed at his home in Bakersfield.
Ozark County Lt. Matt Rhoades drafted a report in connection with the case. “The warrant was signed by a judge and ordered to search all structures, cars, trailers and campers on that property.
“After securing the property, I conducted a search of a camper trailer on the property, which is known to be the suspect’s from previous contacts to stay in that camper. His vehicles were outside, but the suspect was not located in the camper. According to the suspect’s criminal history, he is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms. Inside the trailer, I located 11 firearms, 10.5 grams of field-tested positive meth, .3 grams of suspected cocaine, 15 glass meth pipes, three straws and a digital scale,” his report said.
Fienhold is charged with possession of meth, possession of cocaine, 11 counts of unlawful use of a weapon (possessing felony-level drugs and a firearm at the same time and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. A warrant with a $10,000 cash-only bond has been issued for his arrest.
Sarah Wollin, born in 1981, of Udall, is facing a felony count of unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the Ozark County Special Enforcement Team executing a search warrant executed at her house at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 12.
“When we arrived on scene to serve the search warrant, the occupants of the residence were removed and detained during the duration of the search. The suspect was wearing a fanny pack style bag around her waist when she was located and removed from the residence. The bag was removed from her person during the detaining process. Inside the bag was... two small plastic baggies containing a white, crystal-like substance in them. The substance was field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Also located in the bag were two glass pipes that had a white, crystal-like substance on them and black burn marks on the bulbs. These were field tested for methamphetamine, resulting in a positive test. Also located in the residence was a .243 rifle, in the suspect’s bedroom. The suspect is a convicted felon, therefore is not able to legally possess a firearm,” the report says.
Wollin was charged with possession of meth, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia back in January. An additional felony charge of unlawful possession of a firearm was filed in June. She is scheduled to appear in court for a criminal setting before Associate Judge Raymond Gross at 1:30 p.m. July 29.
