Nicholas Jackson
Nicholas S. Jackson, 26, of Western Grove, Arkansas, was arraigned April 8 in an Ozark County case in which he’s charged with kidnapping, harassment and domestic assault.
According to the probable cause statement prepared by Ozark County Sheriff Cass Martin, at 1:25 p.m. April 5, the sheriff was advised of a domestic assault that took place in the Dora area. In the report, the sheriff explains that a woman approached him in Miller’s Store in Hardenville, and said she was in fear of her well-being and said she was being stalked by her ex-boyfriend, Jackson. She told the officer that on March 5, in her home in Dora, she was physically assaulted by Jackson, who was mad about messages that someone had sent her on her phone. She said he grabbed her by the throat, thrashing around and pinned her forcefully to the bed by her throat. She went on to describe further physical assault. She said he also wouldn’t let her go to the bathroom for over an hour.
The woman has filed a restraining order against Jackson since the incident occurred. She told the sheriff that he has since hacked her Facebook profile and posted from it.
