Lyndell Strong turns 97, family and friends throw surprise party

Last weekend more than 50 people surprised Gainesville resident Lyndell Strong with a surprise birthday party in honor of her 97th birthday, at the Sycamore Springs Assisted Living facility in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Lyndell credits her long life and good health to “a little bit of Dr. Pepper and a whole lot of Jesus.”
