Lions slay in home opener with 92 points

The Bakersfield Lions boys basketball team, under the direction of head coach James Denton, stole the show during their home opener Nov. 17, scoring 92 points against Bradleyville’s 41 points. 

Standout Ethan Cotter brought in an impressive 22 points during the game, followed by Case Lashley with 15. Morris Collins and Bodie Hardin each added 13 points, while Connor Jones aided the effort with 9 points and 11 rebounds. Mason Bean added 8 points.

The Lions boys basketball team continued play this week with an away game at Alton Tuesday and the Current River Challenge on Saturday, Nov. 25.
