The Bakersfield Lions hosted Seymour on Tuesday, Sept. 10 and won 15-12. Jake Summers led the way with three hits. Ty Cotter, Bodie Harden, Eli Cotter and Case Lashley each had 2 hits.
The Lions hosted the Bakersfest Class on Saturday, Sept. 14. Bakersfield played Alton and won 15-4. Eli Cotter was the winning pitcher. Bodie Hardin, Alex Helms, Jake Summers, Cooper Massey, Case Lashley and Ruhstyn Lovins had a hit.
In the second round of Saturday’s tournament, the Lions lost to Mansfield 4-3. Bodie, Alex, Ty, Cooper and Ruhstyn each had a hit.
The games brought the Lions to a 4-1 record for the season.
The Lions host the Couch Indians at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.
