Palmer charged with another felony for failing to appear for court hearing

A warrant with a $1,500 cash-only bond has been issued by Associate Judge Raymond Gross for the arrest of Herbert Palmer in connection with a case in which he’s charged with the felony of failure to appear in court. 

According to the probable cause statement prepared by Ozark County Circuit Clerk and Recorder Jackie Smith, Palmer was scheduled to appear in Ozark County Circuit Court on June 7 for a case in which he’s charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon (possessing a weapon and a felony-level controlled substance at the same time). 

Palmer is a prior offender, meaning he has been convicted of two or more felonies committed at various times. 

Palmer is being represented by Missouri Public Defender Chase Edmon Opolka.
