Dora’s varsity girls and boys cross country teams snagged second place in the Oct. 5 Conway Invitational cross country meet where 12 teams competed. The Gainesville and Dora cross country teams competed in the Conway Invitational Oct. 5 with high school participants running 3.1 miles and junior high runners competing in the 1.5 mile race. There were 12 schools total that participated.

Dora student Clyde Coble won the JAG essay contest. As the prize, he will have a luncheon with Governor Mike Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson, tour the governor’s mansion and tour the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City Nov. 2.
