BHS Lions score wins over Dora, Couch, Summersville

The Bakersfield Lions hosted the Dora Falcons on Tuesday, Feb. 4. The event was a hard-fought in front of a big crowd. At one point in the third quarter, it was a 7-point game, but Bakersfeld pulled ahead and won 78-41.
Morris Collins led the scoring for the Lions with 24 points, followed by Bodie Hardin with 16, Connor Jones with 14 and Ty Cotter with 10.
Bakersfield’s JV also won their contest that night, defeating Dora 66-43.
The Lions added a 73-49 win over Couch for homecoming Friday, Feb. 7. Connor Jones led the scoring with 24 points, followed Ty Cotter with 14 and CJ Carey with 10.
Bakersfield added a 69-36 win over Summersville on Monday, Feb. 10, to bring their record to 17-7. They travel to VanBuren on Monday, Feb. 17, and will host Winona for their final game of the regular season before the Class 2 District 10 Tournament starts on Feb. 24.
