Dawt Mill is open for tours and demonstrations. Also available on the grounds are a general store and gift shop, canoe outfitter, hotel, convention center, restaurant and camp sites.

Hodgson Mill, the most photographed mill in Missouri, is presently undergoing repairs in the initial phase of a plan to conserve it. Plans are under way to make the mill and its grounds again accessible to the public.

Hammond Mill has been refurbished as a private residence.

Rockbridge Mill is now the Grist Mill, a pub-like establishment serving drinks and appetizers at Rainbow Trout Farm at Rockbridge. Trout fishing, lodging and an upscale restaurant are available.

Zanoni Mill, with the county's only overshot water wheel, is on the private property of David and Mary Morrison, owners of Zanoni Mill Inn Bed and Breakfast.
