bullet Thinking of moving to Ozark County?

In Ozark County, Missouri, you won't find theme parks. And you won't find any big cities. In fact, you won't find bright lights - except maybe the moon and stars when they come out at night.
What you will find are two large unspoiled lakes, two wonderful float streams and more gorgeous scenery than you have time to view.
Norfork and Bull Shoals lakes are perfect for fishing, swimming, pleasure boating, water skiing, tubing, scuba diving - or just taking it easy.
You also can enjoy swimming, canoeing, fishing and tubing on one of our crystal clear streams - the North Fork River or Bryant Creek.
You can camp in primitive surroundings or in well-developed campsites. There are rugged hiking trails and, for the hunting enthusiast, an abundance of deer and turkey.
If sightseeing from the car is more your style, Ozark County offers miles and miles of scenic countryside, just waiting for you and your camera.
In Ozark County, we're proud of five historic mills, most of them open to the public.
Then, when you're tired and ready for a clean, comfortable place to sleep, you'll find resorts and resort ranches, along with bed and breakfast establishments, designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
And, of course, we don't want you to forget about the ultimate Ozark County experience - Hootin an Hollarin, a once-a-year festival celebrating the heritage and people of this region of the Ozark Mountains.
