The abundance of water in Ozark County has made water sports, such as canoeing and tubing, extremely popular, with both the locals and visitors. Also high on the list of outdoor recreation are camping and hiking.
    Numerous outfitters operate canoe rental ventures along our popular float streams. Some also offer quality campsites, many with electricity and water.
    Many of the lake resorts in the area also offer well-equipped campsites. Camping is also available in Corps of Engineers parks.
