A movement was started a short time ago to organize a branch chapter of the Red Cross at this place as the Ozark County Chapter at Bakersfield has been organized for some time. Accordingly, people responded with their usual loyalty, patriotism and generosity so now we have 270 members.

A Red Cross chapter was organized at Mineral Point Jan. 3, 1918, with 25 members. We now have 123 members. By March 8, we will likely have 175 members.

The Fats were A. D. McDonald, J. C. Harlin, Everett Herd, S. W. Daniel and C. O. Bennett.

The Leans outscored the Fats by two, the score being 6 to 8.
