Gainesville and Lutie students gathered around the schools' flag poles Sept. 27 at GHS to participate in the “See You at the Pole” tradition. The globally observed gathering has been ongoing for 25 years. According to SYATP.com, the annual See You at the Pole observance is about “one simple act - prayer.” Students all around the world gather around their school’s flagpole, praying for their school, friends, families, church and communities. See You at the Pole is organized by students, not school administrations. At Lutie, freshman Chey Clinton read Hebrews 12:2, and senior Morgan McFarlin asked everyone to gather hands and join in prayer.
