Tom Grozis, 66

A celebration of the life of Tom Grozis, 66, of Mammoth, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the family’s home in Mammoth. Mr. Grozi died March 18 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was born Nov. 28, 1951, in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Dorathy and Cozzy Grozis. He worked as a structural draftsman until retirement. He will be remembered as someone people could count on. He was a generous friend and a father figure to many in Ozark County. His sense of humor and practical jokes will be remembered. He was the ping pong champion of Mammoth and provided a hang-out to many, as noted on the walls of his office entertainment area, which was the Old Mammoth old post office. He will be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Kaye Grozis of the home in Mammoth; two sons, Trevor Grozis of Mammoth and Travis “T.J.” Grozis of Arizona; and brothers Dave, Bill, Chuck, John, Rod and Chris Grozis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
