Roy Lee Brown, 76

A memorial service for Roy Lee Brown, 76, of Isabella, was held May 7, 2018, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville. Mrs. Brown died April 30 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas. 

She was born Jan. 20, 1942, in Stroud, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carles and Johnie Jordan Ingram. She grew up in Dugginsville in western Ozark County. On March 29, 1962, in Protem, she married Dale Brown.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her life being a devoted Christian and her husband’s best friend.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Brown of Isabella; two sons, Clifford Brown and wife Theresa of Mountain Home, Arkansas,  and Danny Brown and wife Kelly of Branson; one daughter, Mona Lisa Woodworth and husband Ken of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Kristee, Kayleigh, Bethany, Mattie and Connor; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; five step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dean; four sisters, Fern, Eva, Myrtle and Barbara; and one grandson Carles Dwayne Abney.
