Richard Francis Goodsell, 59

A memorial service for Richard Francis Goodsell, 59, of Protem, was held March 21, 2019, at the North Start Country Church in Rueter with Don Yarger and Lynn Jennings officiating and with music by Ron Yarger. Mr. Goodsell died March 17 in Branson.

He was born June 26, 1959, in Gainesville, the son of Francis and Faye Chapman Goodsell. On May 26, 1990, he married Marsha Lugenbell. 

Mr. Goodsell was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and camping. He was also handy at cooking, baking and crocheting. He loved his family and friends. His memory will remain in the minds of many who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by Marsha Goodsell, his wife of 28 years; his children, Dustin Goodsell and wife Tabitha of Protem, David Goodsell and wife Leann of Forsyth, daughter Sheila Yonkie and husband Jacob of Little Rock, Arkansas, and son Phillip Goodsell and wife Tamitha of Grand Junction, Colorado; grandchildren D.J., Jessica, Ethan, Monty, Michala, Hunter, Trenton, Rylee, Amber Lynn, Angel, Ashley, Sarah, Chance, Anzie, Johnny, Alana, Hayden, Serinity, Joclyn, Silus, Lakota and Natalie; one brother, Don Goodsell and wife Betty of Slater, Missouri; one sister, Lavon Kellett of Protem; many nieces and nephews; and Matthew Chapman, who was like a son. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Peggy Bishop; his brother John Goodsell; and his brother-in-law Ron Kellett.
