Mary Lou Scott, 78

Memorial services for Mary Lou Scott, 78, of Birch Tree, were held Feb. 13, 2018, at Duncan Funeral Chapel in Birch Tree. Ms. Scott died Feb. 10, 2018, in Willow Springs.

She was born Feb. 14, 1939, in Delaware, Oklahoma, the daughter of Clarence Theodore and Ethel Viola Scott. 

She worked in various occupations, including in dairy barns, in the logging woods, at filling stations and as a grocery store clerk. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing and cutting wood. She took pride in her yard and enjoyed working in it, keeping it clean. She loved her dogs, Lady, Tiny, Baby and Lucky. She was a good woman who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brothers, Ernie Douglas Scott and wife Bretta of Birch Tree, “Dub” Clarence Wesley Scott and wife Ethel of Gainesville, Frank Delanor Scott of Birch Tree, Albert Scott and wife Shiela of Noble, and James Scott and wife Nancy of Enumclaw, Washington; two sisters, Pauline Aikens of Diamond Hill, Arkansas, and Shirley Radewan and husband Jim of Protem; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joy Ann Hamm and Lois Myers; and two brothers, Elvy Dennis Scott and Robert Leroy Scott. 

Burial was in Montier Cemeter in Montier.
