Karola Starliper, 82

Karola Starliper, 82, of Theodosia, formerly of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, died April 11, 2018, at the Gainesville Health Care Center in Gainesville. No local services are planned at this time.
She was born Feb. 20, 1936, in Mainz, Germany, the daughter of Hugo Heil and Elizabeth Bieger. She lived in World War II Germany. She was a restaurant owner, a seamstress and a loving housewife and mother. She was first married to Otto Malchus, then to James Linn and later to Norman Starliper, who died in 2013.
 She is survived by her children, Wilhelm Malchus of Ingelheim, Germany, Ute Timme of Theodosia, John Linn of Newburg, Pennsylvania, and Terri Crusey of Westminster, Maryland;  grandsons James and Dale Linn of Newburg, Matthew Timme of Huntsville, Alabama, and Mannes Koeller of Germany; granddaughters Mary-Jane Adams of Bossier City, Louisiana, Catherine A. Green of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Sarah Malchus and Manuela Malchus of Germany; great-grandchildren Victor Mizell, Charles Mizell, Madison Timme, Jake Timme, Steven Timme, Eathen Green, Clark Green.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, James Linn and Norman Starliper, and one daughter-in-law, April Linn.
