Jerry Ray McGoldrick, 69

Graveside services for Jerry Ray McGoldrick, 69, of Caulfield, were held May 5, 2018, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in West Plains. Mr. McGoldrick died peacefully April 30 at his home.
He was born Sept. 15, 1948, in West Plains, the son of Joe Luther and Opal Marie Bennett McGoldrick. He graduated from West Plains High School in 1966.
 He met Judy Ipock in West Plains, and they were married on Nov. 20, 1970, at the Elijah Church of Christ. He was blessed with one daughter, Julie, whom he loved dearly.
Mr. McGoldrick worked at the International Shoe Factory for 10 years and was a mail carrier for more than 30 years in the Caulfield area; he retired in 2010.
Traveling with Mr. McGoldrick was always an adventure; he loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, family get-togethers and playing golf with his friends. He was a strong member of Elijah Church of Christ and had a deep faith.
He is survived by Judy, his loving wife of 47 years; one sister, Rosalee Carter and husband Bill of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Bill McGoldrick and wife Amy of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two brothers-in-law, Mike House of Caulfield and Roy D. Ipock and wife Debbie of West Plains; one sister-in-law, Elaine Damon and husband Clayton; and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by parents; his daughter, Julie Marie; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jasper and Maurine Ipock; two sisters, Sherry McGoldrick and Linda House; and one brother-in-law, Andy Ipock.
