Janice A. Corp, 77

Funeral services for Janice A. Corp, 77, of Grain Valley, were held April 26, 2018, at the Blue Springs Church of Christ in Blue Springs. Mrs. Corp died April 22 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 31, 1940, in Montrose, Missouri, the daughter of Herman and Catherine Volmer Steinbach. On Oct. 30, 1965, she married Ivan Corp, formerly of Ozark County.
She was a member of the Blue Springs Church of Christ. She loved traveling, going fishing and, most of all, being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a homemaker and also a pre-school teacher at Creative World in Blue Springs.
Survivors include her husband, Ivan; her daughters, Susan Corp of Blue Springs and Cathy Trauernicht and husband Scott of Shawnee, Kansas; her son, Chris Corp of Blue Springs; brothers Donnie Steinbach of Independence and Ed Steinbach of Montrose; sisters Sandra Steinbach of Montrose and Sylvia Smith of Clinton; grandchildren Ben, Adam and Ryan Trauernicht; mother-in-law Irene Corp of Tecumseh; and sisters-in-law Cecilia Stone of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Joyce Hunt of Wichita, Kansas.
