Helen Marie Hamor, 68
Graveside funeral services for Helen Marie Hamor, 68, of Wasola, were held Nov. 19, 2018, at Mammoth Cemetery south of Gainesville. Mrs. Hamor died Nov. 12 in Wasola.
She was born March 13, 1950, in St. Louis, the daughter of Young Wile and Helen Louise Harrison Tanner. On Oct. 2, 1977, in DeSoto, she married Elmer Lee Hamor.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by Elmer Lee Hamor, her husband of 43 years; their three daughters and their families, Sherry Lynne Tanner and her son James Andrew Snider; Denise Marie Barnett and husband Clifford Milton and their six children, Alicia Marie Elmore and fiance’ Charlie Berger, Gloria Nicole “Nikky” McCoy and husband Richard (and their son Zaren Ray Cayden Roscoe), Clifford Coy, Victoria Lynne Barnett and fiance’ Aaron Taylor, Dalton Lee Barnett and Destiny BreAnne Barnett; Ellen Margaret Hickman and husband Joseph W. and their children Matthew Alan Hickman and wife Danielle (and their children Brantley Klayne, Lyra Joelaine and Haven Marie), Joshua Lee Hickman, Shawn Michael Hickman (and his children Paisley Belle, Gunner Jaxson and Kyndall Jade), Kristen Michelle Hickman and her fiance’ Louis Statum (and their daughter Penelope Michelle Statum); her sisters Martha Bolden, Betty Taylor, Donna Tanner and Joyce Paitillo; and her brothers Glen Tanner and Jimmy Tanner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Tanner.
