A simple graveside service for Esther Alline McMahan, 92, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Romance, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at Gainesville Cemetery. Ms. McMahan died March 19, 2018, in Wichita.
She was born Jan. 5, 1926, in Lafferty, Arkansas, the daughter of Ed and Hester McMahan. She lived in Romance for several years before moving her family to Wichita.
She is survived by daughter Janet Link and husband Phil and sons Jerry Walker and Mike Walker and wife Cheryl; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; and a grandson, Jason Walker.
