Charlotte Ann Dockins, 69
A memorial dinner honoring the life of Charlotte Ann Dockins, 69, of Theodosia will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at the home of Tela Ware on 283 JJ Highway in Thornfield. Mrs. Dockins died in peace on Oct 22 at her daughter’s home in Mount Vernon with her family at her side.
She was born Dec. 17,1948, in Baxter County, Arkansas, the daughter of Leslie and Nellie Ingram. On April 16, 1967, in Brown Branch, she married James Vernon Dockins
They moved to Theodosia and raised five daughters. Mrs. Dockins worked for several years in the medical field and as an over-the-road truck driver with her husband.
Her passions were gardening and spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted wife and mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by five daughters: Missy Reichert and husband Tony of Thornfield, Tammie Tinsley and husband Terry of Isabella Angie Plemmons of Farmington, Shelly Dockins and companion Kyle Gott of Theodosia, Hope Breeding and husband Kelly of Mounta Vernon; 11 grandchildren: Estevon Dockins, Tela Ware and Buddy, Kira Dunn and Tony, David Reichert, Kimberly Morris, Justin Thompson and Natalie, Jacob Thompson, Robert Weaver, Leslie Weaver, Tyler Dockins, Brandon Burks and Tamara; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Norman Ingram; and two grandchildren, L.J. Thompson and Zac Morris.
