Bonnie Jane Taylor, 92

Funeral services for Bonnie Jane Taylor, 92, of West Plains, were held Aug. 10, 2019, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains. Mrs. Taylor died Aug. 6 at NHC Healthcare in West Plains.
She was born July 25, 1927, in Thomasville, the daughter of Walter and Myrtle Skinner Pierce. On Nov. 25, 1945, in Arkansas, she married Jesse Coleman Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a minister’s wife, always standing by her husband’s side. She was a great lover of family, children and grandchildren, and she was a peaceful, vigilant homemaker who loved the gardening of flowers and vegetables.  Mrs. Taylor was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Coleman Taylor of West Plains; three children, Chet Taylor and wife Dana of Gainesville, Joyce Taylor of West Plains, and Mary Milligan and husband David of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Pauline Miller of Thomasville, and Esther Huddleston of Alton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Edgar, Elvin, John, Eugene, Ben and Paul Pierce; and six sisters, Bernice, Eloise, Stella, Lorene, Beulah and Gertrude.
Burial was in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in West Plains.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
