Alma Gibson Trivitt, 86

Funeral services for Alma Eugene Gibson Trivitt, 86, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Clarkridge Church of Christ in Clarkridge, Arkansas, with Brother Lee Adair officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, April 24, at the funeral home. Mrs. Trivitt died April 21.

She was born Oct. 8, 1932, in Mountain Home, the daughter of Thomas and Ida Mae Muir Gibson. On June 20, 1952, she married Oliver Eugene Trivitt. She was a lifelong homemaker and occasionally did childcare in her home. She was a member of the Quality Ridge Church of Christ. She loved spending time with family and playing dominos, and she was famous for her lemon meringue pie

Survivors include her three children, Marty Trivitt of Mountain Home, Sherry Wallace and husband Randy of Udall, and Dawn Pittaway and husband Roger of Gainesville; five grandchildren, A.J.  Trivitt of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Misty Wallace of Udall, Lucas Pittaway and wife Kyra, and  Landon Pittaway and wife Jamie, all of Mountain Home, and Abby Bentley and husband Grady of Bakersfield; two great-grandchildren, Grady and Cash Brackney of Udall; three brothers, Neal Gibson and wife Mary Jane, and Doug Gibson, all of Idaho, and Onis Gibson and wife Anna of Mountain Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and five sisters, Gracie, Snodie, Lily Nell, baby girl and Zelma; and a brother, John Franklin.
